Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Know AI, a product of Althera (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using Know AI on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.

Please also review our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

Know AI is multi-tenant. Within an organization, members may hold roles such as owner, admin, or member, which determine their permissions. Organization owners and admins are responsible for managing membership, including invitations and removals, and for the content their organization stores.

• The Basic plan is free for up to 5 members. The AI plan is billed per user, per month, through our payment processor (Stripe).
• Paid subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancellation stops renewal at the end of the current billing period; we do not provide partial-month refunds unless required by law.
• For per-seat plans, charges reflect the number of members in your organization. Adding or removing members may adjust your billed quantity.
• We may change prices with reasonable advance notice.

You retain all rights to the documents and other content you and your organization create or upload (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and provide the service to you — including generating AI answers grounded on your organization's own documents. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to Your Content.

You agree not to:

• Break the law or infringe others' rights.
• Upload malware, attempt to breach security, or disrupt the service.
• Reverse engineer, resell, or abuse the service or its AI features.
• Attempt to access another organization's data or circumvent tenant isolation.

The AI assistant generates answers based on your organization's documents. AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete and should not be relied upon as professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before relying on it.

We work to keep the service available and reliable, but it is provided “as is” and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features from time to time.

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the service in a way that risks harm to us or others. On termination, your right to use the service ends and we may delete Your Content in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When changes are material, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
